Very happy and honored that the paper my former PhD student Ying Liao and I wrote was selected as the best paper of the 2023 International Conference on Quality, Reliability, Risk, Maintenance, and Safety Engineering (QR2MSE).  The title of the paper is “Bayesian Mixed-Effect Highter-Order Hidden Markov Models with Applications to Predictive Heathcare Using Electronic Health Records.”  Ying is honored at this year’s QR2MSE conference.
