The paper “DeepMiceTL: a deep transfer learning based prediction of mice cardiac conduction diseases using early electrocardiograms” by Ying Liao, Yisha Xiang, Mingjie Zheng, and Jun Wang is accepted for publication in Briefings in Bioinformatics, a leading bioinformatics journal with an impact factor of 9.5. In this study, we collaborated with Wang’s lab at UT Health Center at Houston and use state-of-the-art deep transfer learning to identify ECG patterns during the early course of cardiac conduction disease in mice. We hope our approach could benefit cardiac conduction disease research in mice and can be translated to help cardiac diseases in humans in the future.
